I'm also very fond of the Dysynni, but had a very poor week there last year. This year, I have a fortnight booked with my son and our families, so we'll have more time to explore, and may also have a go at the Dyfi. I've fished the PA Dyfi beats once or twice before, but without success. Was that where you fished, or did you get tickets for the main Dyfi association water?

I actually fished the PAAS lengths on the Dovey and Dysynni, but as you experience last year was not a good year for Seatrout in my opinion, too much unsettles weather. I am scheduled to arrive June 24th for two weeks and back again 6th August for ten days both subject t the removal of the UK's self isolation rule.

I'll be there in late July and early August, so it looks as though we won't get to meet! But let's hope that (a) there isn't a fresh lockdown, and (b) we get a better year with the sea trout.
