Tiger Trout

Caught this 4.75lb Tiger Trout from a local fishery today. Very strong fight, more like a brownie than a rainbow....stayed deep and shook its head a bit. They are a cross between Brown and Brook Trout, beautiful colouring with the orange on the lower flanks.

Nice markings on that EM. I’ve only had blues and they fight like hell. As well as sea trout pretty much ?

Yes it was in great condition, the orange on the flanks looks fantastic in real life, the photo doesn't really do justice to the colouring.

If it roars like a tiger, fights like a tiger and looks like a tiger then frankly it's probably a tiger. Personally I think it looks greeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaattttttt
