The trout season begins on the Neath next Thursday (03.03.16), won't be long then for the major event to commence. Hopefully, we'll all see a decent run of fish & feel some fantastic bends in our rods. Tight lines to one & all.
The season started off quite promising, however, the unpredictable amount of rainfall the catchment has seen over the last couple of months has made night-time ventures almost impossible. A lot of these rises in river levels have coincided with some very decent high tides, which in reality, should have encouraged any fish to run the system. As time is currently progressing towards the end of the season for seatrout, maybe there will be some late autumn salmon to provide some interest. Tight lines.
