Totally agree there Bucko, they do some good stuff, The Hard as Nails varnish was going for 99p a chuck the other week.

Indeed. The only problem is (Like Maplins) you go in for one small item (some gold thread for instance) and walk out with ten types of thread, a new kettle and 4 bags of sweets!!

Now selling fishing tackle also, rapala type 'conrad' lures for 99p!!!!!!
Don't know what they work like but they look ok, I also don't know if the fish can tell the difference? but if the budget is tight?

I assume you mean Fladen Conrad lures, they don't swim so well as a rapala. Fladen 'Salmon' lures swim a lot better though
