I've fished the wear twice, the first time I had 2 bang on the average (4.5lb) which I thought was impressive enough, until I saw a sea trout of about 3 times that size jumping. Sounded like someone had chucked a barrel in. Amazing river.

Yes you hear some right paving slabs jumping about usually in the deep water where we usually can't get at lol

So where do you mainly fish W.man?
Down in a decent rain fed valley of South Wales, the river Neath. Many moons ago,the river would produce fish in excess of 20;bs, runs & current conditions have seen a dramatic loss in such specimen fish, there are a few decent sized fish that still navigate the system sadly, not in the quantity of yesteryear. I wish it may still happen & prove me wrong.
